This year's All My Heart Bridal Get Your Curve On Fashion Show showcased some of the hottest trends in the bridal industry today. The theme for this year was A Midsummer Night's Dream. As you walk into the Foundation Event Space you are introduced to an enchanted runway. The floral decor and runway backdrop designs provided by Hitched Planning+Floral, was absolutely breathtaking.

Before I continue to give you all the deets of the show, first let me tell you a little about AMH. All My Heart Bridal is located in Lee's Summit, MO. Their doors opened about 2 years ago, servicing local and far away curvy brides to be. All My Heart Bridal is the first and only bridal boutique in Kansas City to specifically provide plus size wedding dresses only servicing sizes 14 and above. Can we get a big round of applause for AMH? 👏🏽 Yassss!

The show opened with looks by Bella Bridesmaids, one of the areas largest collections of bridesmaids dresses. Located in Leawood, KS, Bella Bridesmaids has something for

every bridal squad. This dynamic duo gave area brides-to-be a sneak peak and showed off their great selections of styles, colors, & sizes of bridesmaids dresses.
As a model myself, I have attended several national bridal markets, the mecca of them all is the Chicago Bridal Market. Designers from all over the country come together to showcase their latest designs with potiential bridal shops and boutiques. I am also a bridal fit model for a few designers in the KC area like Essence of Australia, Stella York, and Bella Vogue. I've had the opportunity to work with them for several years now, helping them cater to plus-size women. Ensuring that the fit, shape, look, and feel is on point. Their most recent collection called Everybody Every Bride offers sizes up to 26.

With that being said I had a very close eye on the collection AMH Bridal showcased at their fashion show. I was very impressed with the different sizes and shapes of models they chose to have walk for them that night. It really pushed their agenda of serving EVERY curvy bride.

As the show continued guest started to pick up on the evenings theme as the models walked down the runway with fun magical hair provided by White Carpet Fashion. By magical hair I mean, it looked as if a unicorn dyed and styled their hair (I wish my hairstylist was a unicorn 🦄). Sporting lavender, pastel pinks, and sky blue hair the models served a look out of this world with confidence.

Not only was the hair a showstopper but the makeup looks were amazing and again, on theme. The models gave high fashion editorial energy with their makeup looks provided by White Carpet Fashion. Some models had what looked to be flower petals growing from their eyes and face. Truly a magical runway experience.
As the show went on the runway looks transitioned to wedding gowns. AMH displayed a number of different gowns that catered to all kinds of bride's style. Whether you're a boho chic bride, classic and timeless bride, or a non-traditional style bride they have it all.

After the show I was able to sit down with the owner of All My Heart Bridal, Sarah Bronson. I wanted to know what makes All My Heart Bridal different than any other local bridal boutiques. Bronson had this to say, "All My Heart Bridal isn't your typical bridal boutique. Sure, we have pink walls, white dresses, and pretty things. But, we are so much more than that. We are a group of women who empower each other to embrace our body differences and encourage one another to love our curves. Our goal isn't to sell you a wedding dress. Our goal is to make you feel beautiful and confident in who you are, create lasting memories with your loved ones, love yourself with all your heart, and most importantly say yes to the dress!"
All My Heart Bridal fashion show was definitely not your average Kansas City fashion show. It set the bar for local shows and bridal boutiques to keep up and follow suit. I can't wait to see what All My Heart Bridal Get Your Curve On fashion show has in store for us next year!
